Security ninja Ed Spencer is coming to help us answer questions and keep us all on the same page. Ed was one of the main stage speakers at BSides Jacksonville 2018. Thanks to Steve Wheeler and the work he put into our study material, we plan to have another interactive study session.
Chili Cookoff: We like to kick off the season holiday season with our annual Chili Cookoff event. I will be making last year's award-winning chili from the Casa de Moore Magnifico. I am willing to pass on this prestigious honor but you must prepare a mean bowl of chili. Anyone who brings chili will automatically be entered into the contest. We will supply paperware. Big thanks to Dan Sullivan and the First Florida Credit Union for providing us with cold drinks to wash it down with (Samuel L. Jackson voice)

Speaking of February, I want to announce a schedule for all interested in studying for the Security Plus certification. These will be the last meetings until February 5, 2019. For the next couple of months, we plan to meet every Monday at 7 PM and Saturday at 9 AM EST. We are using the collaboration tool http://FreeConferenceCall.com/wall/ITProCamp for most of these meetings. There is a game we will play called Kahoot! You will need a Kahoot! account to participate in some of the study group activities. Please download the app and create a profile.
